#19 Orange Take on the Best at Clemson Invite

Women's rowing takes on seven nationally-ranked foes
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 19 Syracuse University women's rowing team will take on some of the nation's best crews this weekend when it competes in the Clemson Invite on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. The regatta begins on Saturday with a morning and evening session and will conclude on Sunday.
Syracuse will take the course for the first time on Saturday morning at 8:38 a.m. One can watch the first session live on ESPN3. Racing will pick back up at 5 p.m. and live video will be available on TigerCast on clemsontigers.com. The Orange will conclude their stay in South Carolina on Sunday morning when competition begins at 8:38 a.m. TigerCast will broadcast the final session, as well.
The field for the Clemson Invite certainly boasts some of the top programs in the nation. No. 3 Virginia, No. 4 Ohio State, No. 8 Texas, No. 13 Indiana, No. 14 Washington State, No. 17 Harvard, and No. 20 Louisville will all be participating in the event.
The team is competing in its second event of the year after a strong showing at the Doc Hosea Invite two weekends back. Syracuse defeated Boston University to retain the Kittell Cup in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on April 2.
