Orange will compete in two races this weekend
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 11 Syracuse University men's rowing team will conclude its 2016 regular season with two races this weekend. Syracuse will first take on No. 7 Boston University and No. 18 Columbia in Leonia, N.J. on Saturday morning, before racing No. 10 Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H. on Sunday.
Racing against Boston University and Columbia will kick off at 9 a.m. in Overpeck Park in Leonia, N.J. The Orange will compete in third, second, and first varsity eight competitions which will be held at 9:20 a.m., 9:40 a.m., and 10 a.m., respectively.

The Orange will then head north for their final race of the regular season against Dartmouth. Racing will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the Connecticut River. Similar to its first race of the weekend, Syracuse will compete in the first, second, and third varsity eight races.

In each of their past two races, the first varsity eight crew has knocked off a higher-ranked foe, defeating No. 11 Navy and No. 12 Wisconsin. Following its recent success, Syracuse moved up to No. 11 in the latest USRowing Coaches Poll, its highest appearance since the 2012 campaign.
