Orange Conclude Regular Season at Lake Morey Invite

The Syracuse men's rowing team closed out the Lake Morey Invite on Sunday morning with a dominant performance, sweeping Georgetown across three events with all three boats claiming victory by open water.
The 3rd Varsity Eight got things started, pulling away from the field to cross the line well ahead of Georgetown. The 2V8 kept the momentum going with a victory and the No. 9 Varsity Eight completed the sweep with a win over Georgetown's 19th-ranked varsity crew. Syracuse did not race a Fourth Varsity Eight on Sunday.
The Orange concludes its regular season and turns the team's focus to the 2026 Eastern Sprints Regatta on May 17 at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.Â
