Syracuse men's rowing travels to the Cayuga Inlet on Saturday, Oct. 31, for a three-team race against Cornell and Dartmouth over a 4.5-kilometer course in the only fall race on the schedule for SU.
Racing is split into two flights. The first begins at 9 a.m. with the first varsity eight, followed by the second varsity eight and then the third varsity eight. The second flight starts at 10:30 a.m. Syracuse will make lineup changes between flights.
At 4.5 kilometers, the race is longer than the 2,000-meter sprint format used in the spring season. Cornell hosts the event on home water, while Dartmouth makes the trip from Hanover. For Syracuse, Saturday offers a measuring stick against two programs they will race again in the spring season.
