#16 Syracuse Competes in ACC Championship

Orange own the second seed in five of four events
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 16 Syracuse University women's rowing team heads to Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. for the 2016 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship. Racing begins on Friday night and will conclude on Saturday morning with the final heats.
Syracuse earned the second seed in every event the team will compete in, except the third varsity eight race. The Orange holds the third seed in the third varsity eight competition.
The ACC Championship will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday on the campus of Clemson University. Final races are scheduled to begin at 8:05 a.m. and will be available live on ESPN3. Live results from the entire championship are accessible here, as well.
Last season, the Orange placed third, as a team, in their second conference championship as a league member. Syracuse notched three third-place showings, earning podium finishes in the first and third varsity eight and first varsity four competitions.
