#16 Women's Rowing Heads to Finals

Orange will compete in the grand final in every event on Saturday
CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 16 Syracuse University women's rowing team hit the waters of Lake Hartwell at the 2016 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship on Friday night. Following Friday's heats, Syracuse will compete in the grand final of all five races it entered on Saturday morning.
The Orange notched second-place showings in every race it competed in on Friday night on the campus of Clemson University. The first varsity eight and third varsity eight crews each recorded the third-fastest times in their classifications on Friday.
The first varsity eight grand final, the main event of the conference championship, looks like it will be hotly contested, following Friday's heats. Less than two seconds separated No. 15 Notre Dame, No. 19 Duke, and Syracuse, respectively.
Final races will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday morning with the first varsity eight petite final. Live video of all of the action on Saturday will be available on ESPN3. In addition, one can stay updated with live results.
