
Seeding Announced for IRA Regatta

Orange earn No. 12 seed in all three races they will compete in
WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The seeding for the 2016 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta has been officially announced and each of the three Syracuse University men's rowing crews have earned the No. 12 seed in their respective races.
Racing begins on Friday, June 3 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. The Orange are slated to compete at 9 a.m. in the fourth heat of the first varsity eight, 10 a.m. in the fourth heat of the second varsity eight, and 10:10 a.m. in the first heat of the third varsity eight.
Live video of the annual national championship regatta will be available on all three days of competition.
Syracuse has certainly had a successful season, thus far. The Orange cracked the top 10 of the USRowing Coaches' Poll for the first time since the 2012 campaign. In addition, the first varsity eight crew beat out Dartmouth to claim the Packard Cup for the first time since 2012.
