6/9/2016 5:50:00 PM | Men's Lacrosse
Syracuse midfielder Sergio Salcido picked up his second All-America honors on these season on Thursday, when Lacrosse Magazine tabbed him as one of the nation's top-three midfielders.
Salcido, who emerged as the leading scorer from the Orange's midfield with 53 points, was selected as a USILA Second Team All-American two weeks ago, one-of-five 'Cuse selections on that list.
Salcido finished second on the Orange in points after tallying 29 goals and 24 assists in a breakout junior season at SU. The Winter Park, Florida native emerged into Syracuse's starting lineup this season after spending much of last season on the third midfield line and was a crucial factor down the stretch, averaging over four points per game in the final-seven contests.
The USILA previously tabbed Dylan Donahue as a First Team All-American, and Brandon Mullins, Ben Williams, Nick Mariano and Salcido to the second team.
