First baseman Goler named to All-National Pro Fastpitch team

Orange assistant coach earns professional league award
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse softball assistant coach and Pennsylvania Rebellion member Alisa Goler (Georgia, '11) has earned All-National Pro Fastpitch accolades as a first baseman, the league announced Thursday night in the midst of its Championship Series Week in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Goler was the only member of the Pennsylvania Rebellion to earn a spot on the 2016 All-NPF team.
Thursday night's award banquet, an annual reception hosted by the NPF, recognized the performances of all six teams, coaches and players for the concluding season.
Goler, a three time All-American and University of Georgia alum, began a coaching career with the Orange just a year ago after serving as a hitting coach at Roosevelt University during the 2014-15 season.
The first baseman played for the Chicago Bandits directly out of college in 2011, and was named league Rookie of the Year and selected to the All-NPF team. Goler completed four seasons with the Bandits before signing a free agent contract with the Pennsylvania Rebellion in 2015.
