The Syracuse men's track and field team remained in the top-six of the USTFCCCA Computer Ranking in the first in-season poll, which was announced on Monday.
The Orange, which entered the season ranked No. 5 in the Preseason Computer Rankings, maintained a high ranking through two weeks of competition at the Ramapo Opener and Cornell Upstate Challenge.
Florida maintained the No. 1 spot in the poll, securing 175.67 points, while Oregon sits in second (135.05), followed by LSU (118.49), Georgia (88.76) and Arkansas (86.62) in succession. Despite falling one spot in the poll, the Orange's computer ranking only dropped by 0.64 points to 77.52, closing in on the Razorbacks who fell by 12.2 points.
Virginia (No. 9) and Virginia Tech (No. 16) also represent the ACC in the poll.
Syracuse's indoor slate ramps up this week, with 'Cuse headed to a trio of meets. Some members of the Orange will take on the John Thomas Invitational in Boston, while others will head to the UW Invitational in Seattle or the Villanova Open on Staten Island.
