SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's hockey team will host Mercyhurst on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 for a pair of weekend games at Tennity Ice Pavilion. Friday's game is set for 7 p.m. and Saturday's game will have a 3 p.m. puck drop.

Friday's game will serve as Syracuse's first 'Military Game' and the Orange will be wearing special camouflage jerseys for the occasion. The jerseys will be up for auction following the game and all proceeds will be donated to the Syracuse VA Medical Center, specifically to the Suicide Prevention Center. Bids can be placed here. Syracuse comes into the weekend having won five of the last six games, earning a second place standing in College Hockey America. In those six games, the Orange have outscored opponents, 21-6. In the last outing, 'Cuse split with CHA leader Robert Morris at home. The Colonials took the first game, but the Orange bounced back for a 5-1 win the next day.

Stephanie Grossi leads the Orange with 22 points (11 goals, 11 asssists) this season, 11 of those points came in January. Emily Costales is second on the team with 18 points. Jessica Sibley leads the team with 13 assists this season. Netminder Abbey Miller has posted a 1.78 goals against average for the season, the best in the CHA.

Mercyhurst comes into the game in third place in the CHA standings, seven points back from Syracuse. Brooke Hartwick leads the Lakers with 26 points and Taylor Accursi is behind her with 20 points this season. Jessica Convery has played in net in 20 games for the Lakers this season, earning a 2.03 GAA.

The two teams have met 40 times in series history, the most of any Orange opponent. Syracuse and Mercyhurst split games in Erie earlier this season.
