Nine former players currently playing professionally overseas
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Nine former Syracuse women's basketball student-athletes have continued their careers, playing professionally overseas. Here is the latest Orange's women's basketball professional update:
Kayla Alexander, Bourges (France)
- Through 20 games, averaging 10.3 points and a club-high 7.2 rebounds per outing.
- Tied for 10th in the Ligue Féminine de Basketball in rebounding.
- Registered 11 points and a team-best seven boards in the squad's last contest, a setback against Dynamo Kursk in EuroLeague Women play on March 7.
Brianna Butler, Perth (Australia)
- In 18 games played, tallying 4.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per contest.
- Knocked down a 3-point field goal in the club's last matchup, a loss against Dandenong in the Women's National Basketball League semifinals on March 5.
Taylor Ford, Benfica (Portugal)
- Averaging 10.7 points and a team-best 8.3 rebounds in 16 games played.
Chandrea Jones, Catz (Finland)
- Leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 19.0 points and 10.4 boards in 20 outings.
- Ranks eighth in the Finnish Basketball League in scoring and rebounding.
- In the club's last contest, poured in 32 points in a victory against Kouvot on March 1.
Shakeya Leary, Freiburg (Germany)
- In 13 contests, registering 7.7 points and a squad-best 11.6 rebounds per game.
- Leads the Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga in rebounding.
Julie McBride, Energa Torun (Poland)
- Tallying 10.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and a team-high 6.8 assists per contest.
- Third in the Polish Basketball League in assists.
- Notched eight points, three boards, and seven helpers in the squad's last matchup, a win against Sleza Wroclaw on March 4.
Nicole Michael, Energa Torun (Poland)
- Averaging 10.0 points and 8.1 rebounds in eight games played.
- Recorded 13 points and 11 boards in the team's latest contest, a victory against Sleza Wroclaw on March 4.
Erica Morrow, Amicale (Luxembourg)
