Syracuse looks to capture the Goes Trophy for the first time since 2011
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 17 Syracuse men's rowing team will take on No. 12 Cornell and No. 16 Navy in its season opener on Saturday morning in Ithaca, N.Y. Syracuse is looking to bring home the Goes Trophy for the first time since 2011.

The Orange are coming off a successful 2016 campaign. Syracuse cracked the top 10 of the coaches' poll for the first time since 2012 and defeated Dartmouth to collect the Packard Cup.
