Sellers Breaks 400 Record

Kadejhia Sellers broke the Syracuse school record in the 400-meter dash, that had stood since 1996, shattering the mark in a time of 52.88 seconds, highlighting night two at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
The previous record was 53.32 seconds held by Sandy McFarland. Sellers' time was good for second overall at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, first among collegiate competitors.
In the 200-meter dash, Victoria Parker turned in a seventh-place finish, crossing the line in 24.15 seconds. Justice Richardson finished in 25.40.
After her PR in the 100-meter hurdles on Friday, Danielle Delgado raced to a time of 1:01.17 in the 400-meter hurdles, which was good for ninth.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Richardson, Sellers, Parker and Dasia Pressley won the event in a time of 45.23 seconds, before the 4x400-meter team of Sellers, Tia Thevenin, Ebhani Blackwood and Delgado finished third in 3:45.40.
In the high jump, Aviana Goode leapt to a mark of 1.63 meters, which was good for sixth, while Regine Hunter took seventh in the triple jump at 11.30 meters.
The men's 4x100-meter relay team, which finished in 40.87 seconds, took second behind Georgia Tech's squad. The unit was made up of Freddie Crittenden III, Kashif Miller, Pascal Bastien and Winston Lee.
At the Virginia Challenge, Justyn Knight won a fast field in the 1500-meters which featured former NCAA Champion Henry Wynne. Knight crossed the line in 3:42.11, edging Michigan State's Justine Kiprotich by 0.25 seconds. Wynne finished third, with Joel Hubbard racing unattached and placing 13th.
