
Track Takes on Miami and Princeton Meets

The Syracuse track and field teams will continue their outdoor slate at a pair of meets this weekend, with the distance runners taking on the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton and the sprinters will head to the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
Last Time Out:
- Freddie Crittenden III – the NCAA runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles – turned in one of the nation's top-five times in the 110-meter hurdles (13.66), while taking third at the Florida Relays.
- Colin Bennie led the way at the Stanford Invitational, posting a time of 29:20.56. Philo Germano (29:46.47) and Kevin James (31:19.19) also raced behind Bennie at the Stanford Invite.
- Paige Stoner (33:55.69) raced in the women's 10k her season debut, while Sydney Leiher took on the 3000-meter steeplechase (10:28.50) and freshman Madeline Davison raced in the 5k (16:37.94) in the lone trio at Stanford for the SU women.
- Freshman Aidan Tooker also had a strong race in his outdoor collegiate debut at Stanford., racing to a time of 14:04.91 in the 5k.
- Winston Lee (10.73) turned in a fast 100-meter dash time in Florida as well.
- The Malone sisters raced in the San Francisco Distance Carnival as well, with Mary (16:54.08) edging Shannon (16:56.32) in the 5k.
Previewing Princeton
- Joel Hubbard, Adam Palamar, Paul Lovell, and Sam Somera will kick off the invitational with the men's 800 meter run.
- In the 1500, 'Cuse will be represented by Nick Ryan, Andy Paladino, and Robbie Hall.
- Joe Dragon, Dominic Hockenbury, Kevin James, Simon Smith, and Griff Molino will race in the 5000 meter run.
- Chelsie Pennello will be the women's sole competitor in the women's 5000 meter run.
- Sydney Leiher will compete in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase for the second time on the young season, while Adam Visokay will race in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase.
Previewing Miami
- Dasia Pressley will kick off the festivities in the 100-meter dash for SU, with Victoria Parker and Justice Richardson right behind in the next-two heats, respectively.
- Winston Lee is set to compete in the men's 100 with Kashif Miller.
- Fresh off his top-five time nationally last week, Freddie Crittenden III will once again race in the 110-meter hurdles. He's one of two collegiate runners in the eight-man top heat, which features multiple professionals, including 'Cuse alum Ramon Sosa. Chevis Armstead II will also race in the 110-meter hurdles this weekend.
- Kadejhia Sellers will continue to race in the 400-meter dash, racing in a heat which features professional and international competition. Cheyenne Trigg and Ebhani Blackwood are also set to compete in the event for the Orange.
- Danielle Delgado and Aviana Goode will represent SU in the 100-meter hurdles, with Delgado also registered in the 400-meter hurdles.
- 'Cuse will also be represented in the 4x100-meter relay, with Richardson, Sellers, Parker and Pressley racing for the Orange.

- Tia Thevenin will make her outdoor debut after an injury setback at the ACC Championships, racing in the 4x400 with Sellers, Blackwood and Trigg.
- Goode will also compete in the high jump and long jump, while blackwood will take on the triple jump with Regine Hunter.
- Randall Johnson is set to jump in the high jump and long jump for the men.
