SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- No. 11/11 Syracuse returns home to host No. 20/15 Virginia Tech on Sunday, April 9 at 1 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a pregame ceremony honoring the Orange's senior class. Admission and parking are free of charge.

The first 50 fans to enter the gates will receive a STX backpack. The next 200 fans will receive Syracuse ear warmers. In addition, a special ceremony is planned for halftime to recognize members of the Orange's 20 teams in honor of National Student-Athlete Day.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN 1200 AM and WJPZ 89.1 FM. in Syracuse. Live audio will also be available on Cuse.com.

SENIOR DAY
Syracuse's senior class will play its final regular-season home game in the Carrier Dome on Tuesday, April 18 against Cornell. The group, including Abby Connor, Erin Francis, Haley McDonnell, Kaeli O'Connor, Devon Parker, Carly Randall, Paige Rogers, Tori Wehner and Kelsey Youmell will be honored in pregame ceremony on Sunday to honor them for their dedication to the program.

ACC STANDINGS
Syracuse enters Sunday's game in second place in the ACC standings with a 3-1 league record. The victory at Loyola on Wednesday improved the Orange's overall mark to 10-4. Virginia Tech is 2-2 in conference action this season, which puts the Hokies in a tie for fourth place in the standings.

GOLDSTOCK RECORDS 10th WIN
Freshman goalkeeper Asa Goldstock recorded her 10th win of the season against Loyola. She is the only freshman goalkeeper in the nation with 10 victories in 2017. Goldstock became the third freshman in program history to start a season opener when she was between the pipes against Boston College.

SCOUTING THE HOKIES
Virginia Tech is coming off an overtime loss against Louisville, which gives the Hokies an 11-4 overall record heading into Sunday's game. The 11 wins tie for the most in program history.

Kristine Loscalzo and Tristan McGinley lead the Hokies' offense. Loscalzo has 44 goals this season, while McGinley is right behind with 41. Taylor Caskey has dished out a team-high 15 assists. Meagh Graham has started all 15 games in goal for Virginia Tech. She has an 8.69 goals-against average and a .451 goals-against average.

THE SERIES
Sunday's game will be the eighth all-time meeting between Syracuse and Virginia Tech. The Orange have won all seven previous meetings. Last season, Syracuse defeated the Hokies, 17-6, in Blacksburg.
