Syracuse hits the water on Sunday morning
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 13 Syracuse women's rowing team heads to Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. for the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship. Racing will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Coming off three ACC Crew of the Week performances, Syracuse owns the top seed in the first varsity eight competition at the annual conference championship regatta. It marks the first time the Orange have notched the first seed in any event since joining the league.
The Orange concluded the regular season ranked No. 13 nationally in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll. It marked the highest Syracuse had appeared in the coaches' rankings during the regular season since April 2, 2003.
