Orange Cap Season Ranked #13 Nationally

Syracuse has been ranked in the past 27 poll releases
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Syracuse women's rowing team is ranked No. 13 nationally in the final USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll, as announced on Wednesday. It marks the fourth straight season that Syracuse has appeared in the top 20 of the final coaches' poll.
The Orange have appeared in the top 20 of the USRowing/CRCA Poll in each of the past 27 rankings releases, dating back to April 21, 2015. Syracuse rose as high as No. 12 in the country this year, its highest appearance since the 2002 campaign.
Behind 11th-place showings from the second varsity eight and first varsity four crews, the Orange finished in 13th place overall at the 2017 NCAA Championship on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. The second varsity eight boat, the 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference champion and Crew of the Year, notched its best finish in program history at the annual national championship regatta.
Eighteen of the 23 Syracuse student-athletes that participated in the 2017 NCAA Championship will return next season, including 2017 All-ACC Second Team honoree sophomore coxswain Rebecca Spraggins.
