RALEIGH, N.C. -- No. 24/-- Syracuse is unbeaten in its last five matches and the Orange look to continue that streak against No. 21 North Carolina State. Match time is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 in Raleigh, N.C.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse is coming off a 7-0 victory against St. Bonaventure, improving its record to 7-4-2. Four different players were able to put the ball in net for the Orange. Sophomore Tajon Buchanan recorded his first career hat trick, while sophomore Sondre Norheim scored a career-high two goals. The seven goals were the most for a men's team at the SU Soccer Stadium since it opened in 1996, and the highest total for the Orange since 1990.

Syracuse is unbeaten in its last five matches and in that time the Orange have outscored opponents 17-3. Syracuse has recorded three shutouts against then No. 1 Wake Forest, Ohio State and St. Bonaventure. Syracuse is ranked No. 24 in the coaches poll and No. 7 in the NCAA RPI.

SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
No. 21/9 North Carolina State is coming off a 3-0 loss to UNC-Wilmington but they were able to beat then No. 1 North Carolina the game before. The Wolfpack is 8-4-2 including 2-3-1 in the ACC.

Gabriel Machado and David Loera lead the NC State offense with 10 points each. Machado has scored a team-best four goals, while Loera leads the team in assists with six. Leon Krapf has played every minute in goal for the Wolfpack this season. He has a 0.96 goals-against average, a .741 save percentage and seven shutouts this season. Krapf and Syracuse's Hendrik Hilpert are tied for second in saves in the ACC with 40.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and North Carolina State will meet for the seventh time on Saturday. The Orange lead the all-time series, 4-2-1. Syracuse has won four out of the last six meetings against the Wolfpack.

UP NEXT
Syracuse is set to play its last road game of the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at ACC rival Clemson. The Orange will then head home to play their final match of the regular season against Boston College on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
