Syracuse Track and Field looks to build off last week's momentum in three upcoming meets: the Bryan Clay Invitational, Virginia Challenge, and the Larry Ellis Invitational.

Previewing the Bryan Clay Invitational
- NCAA Champion Justyn Knight will be Syracuse's sole competitor at the Bryan Clay Invitational. He is slated to compete in the men's 1500 meter run on Friday against some of the top qualifiers in the nation.
- Knight began his 2018 outdoor season with a 1500 meter win at the Bison Invitational last week [3:42.71]Â at Bucknell.
- Syracuse came away with three top-five performances between the men's and women's teams in the 2017 Virginia Challenge 3K Steeplechase.
- Paige Stoner finished fifth in the women's 3k steeplechase, with a time of 10:22.17, while Aidan Tooker [8:54.01] finished in fifth in the same event for the men.
- Stoner also posted a time of 16:10.91 in the women's 5000 meter run, which was good for an eighth place finish. In men's 5000 meter run, current Syracuse seniors Philo Germano [13:56.27] and Colin Bennie [14:04.47] claimed seventh and 12th place, respectively.
- Knight, who was Syracuse's only male competitor in the 1500 meter finals, emerged victorious in a time of 3:42.11, edging Michigan State's Justine Kiprotich by 0.25 seconds.
- Madeleine Davison is set to represent the Orange in the women's 5K event.
- Sydeny Leiher and Paige Stoner will go head-to-head in the women's 3K steeplechase, while Noah Affolder and Tooker will compete in the same event for the men's team.
- Rounding out the Orange squad, Germano will compete in the men's 1500 meter run.
