Orange Pick Up Wins at Cornell

In the Orange's penultimate regular season meet, the Syracuse track and field team picked up numerous wins.
Madeleine Davison won the 1500-meters with a career-best 4:36.48. She paced the field, which featured five other members of the Orange to pick up the win. Sydney Leiher finished fourth overall (4:45.46), followed by Kelsey Potts (4:50.05) and Olivia Elston (4:56.42), who placed eighth and ninth, respectively.
Ryley Higgins (5:05.52) and Kerry Reilly (5:14.12), placed 18th and 24th, to round out the Orange in the field.
Andy Paladino picked up the win for the men, crossing the line in 4:02.36, distancing himself by nearly two seconds from the field.
Emma Wilson handily won the 3000-meters, crossing the line in 10:35.29 to pick up the win, while Laura Dickinson earned the win in the 3000-meter steeplechase, crossing the line in 10:49.40.
Declan Kottmeier finished second in the men's 3000-meters with a time of 9:09.75. Matt Cavallaro (9:22.81) finished sixth.
Aviana Goode earned the win in both jumping events, clearing 1.65 meters in the high jump and leaping to a mark of 5.50 meters in the long jump. Randall Johnson won the men's high jump, clearing 1.91 meters.
In the long jump, Pascal Bastein (6.96m) took second, while Johnson (6.92m) finished third.
In the 800-meters, Nathan Henderson was the top collegian, winning the event in 1:56.18. Rachel Bonner took second for the women with a time of 2:16.30.
Kwaku Agyemang won the men's 400, crossing the line in 52.50 seconds. Kokeith Perry (56.36) and Cameron Bailey (58.92) finished 13th and 15th. Hannah Loder finished fourth in the women's 400-meters, crossing the line in 1:00.49.
Next, Syracuse will send Justyn Knight and Paige Stoner to headline the Payton Jordan Invitational.
