- Paige Stoner and Justyn Knight enter Thursday's Payton Jordan Invitational looking to best the school 5k records, and in Knight's case, bettering his own record could move him into the top-three all-time in NCAA history.

- The collegiate record stands at 13:08.4, a mark that was hand-timed for Henry Rono in 1978. Anything less than 3:15.33 would be the second-fastest ever.
- Stoner is chasing Sarah Pagano's school record in the 5000-meters, which she set in 2014 with a time of 15:48.87.
