
Orange Set for NCAA Championship Weekend

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – For the third-consecutive year the Syracuse University women's rowing team will compete for a national championship at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla. The Orange earned an at-large bid and ranks No. 15 in the most recent CRCA/US Rowing Coaches' Poll. The NCAA Championship will also be the final event for head coach Justin Moore who announced last week that he is departing collegiate coaching at the end of the season.
The first varsity eight will start things off for Syracuse with its preliminary heat at 8:42 a.m. on Friday morning and will be paired with Gonzaga, Yale, Washington and Princeton. The second varsity eight is seeded with Northeastern, USC, Washington and Iowa and will race at 9:14 a.m.
In the varsity four, Syracuse is paired with UCF, Wisconsin, Cal and Michigan for the preliminary, which is scheduled for 9:54 a.m.
The top-two in each preliminary heat will go on to the AB semifinals on Saturday morning with the grand finals taking place Sunday.
Fans can watch all of the races live or they can follow along with live results.
