Finals Set for Saturday Afternoon at NCAA Championships

Sarasota, Fla. – Due to anticipated inclement weather on Sunday, the NCAA Rowing Championship finals have been moved up to Saturday afternoon. Syracuse University's second varsity eight will race in the Petite Final with a chance for a top-10 finish after placing sixth in the A/B Semifinal Saturday morning.
The 2V8 Petite Final will be the first final race of the afternoon and will start at 2 p.m.
The first varsity eight placed second in the C/D Semifinal with a time of 6:47.0 while Wisconsin won the race crossing the finish line in 6:45.2. Syracuse's top crew will race in the C Final at 2:56 p.m. ET.
The Orange varsity four crew is also into in the C Final after placing third in the C/D semifinals. The Four C Final is scheduled for 3:28 p.m. and will be the final race of the NCAA Championship.
