
Lucy Pearce Named CRCA All-American

Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse University sophomore Lucy Pearce has earned CRCA All-America honors for the 2018 rowing season. Pearce was a staple in the Syracuse varsity eight boat that placed second at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship giving the Orange their second runner-up team finish in as many years.
After earning a third-consecutive at-large bid to the NCAA Championship, Pearce helped guide the varsity eight to a 16th-place finish with a fourth-place finish in the 'C' Final.
Pearce earned All-ACC First Team honors at the ACC Championship and was an All-ACC Academic Team selection this season.
The Melbourne, Australia, native earned a spot on Australia's 8+ crew for the U23 Championships that will be held in Poznan, Poland, July 25-29. She marks one of four Orange women competing at the U23 World Championships.
