Orange, Huskies Tie in Preseason Scrimmage

PORTLAND, Conn. – Syracuse men's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie against Connecticut in its final exhibition prior to opening the 2018 season. The Orange finish
 the preseason with a 2-0-1 record.

Syracuse recorded seven shots on frame and six corner kicks, while the Huskies had three shots on goal and two corners. Senior Hendrik Hilpert made three saves for the Orange.

The 2018 campaign kicks off on Friday, Aug. 24 when Syracuse travels to the West Coast to take on Oregon State at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
