
Alyssa Manley: National Champion to Hall of Famer

Olympian, National Champion and now Hall of Famer. Former Syracuse Field Hockey standout Alyssa Manley will be inducted to the Warwick High School Hall of Fame on Sept. 14. Manley, a 2012 graduate of Warwick High School in Lititz, Pa., is one of five WHS alums to make up the 2018 class.

Manley was a two-sport athlete at Warwick in field hockey and lacrosse. She was the Lancaster Sports Writers and Coaches Field Hockey Player of the Year in 2011 and earned First-Team All-America accolades that same year. She was named first team All-State, All-Region and All-League as a senior.

In 2016, she became Warwick's first Olympic athlete when she played field hockey for Team USA in the Rio Olympics.

After her decorated career at WHS, Manley went on to lead Syracuse to its first NCAA National Championship in program history in 2015. The 2015 title was also the first women's team championship in school history.

Manley was the Honda Sports Award Recipient for field hockey as a senior, the first student-athlete to receive the honor for any sport at Syracuse. She was a Collegiate Women Athlete of the Year Finalist at the CWSA Sports Awards and was named Syracuse's Female Athlete of the Year at the 10th-annual 'Cuse Awards. Additionally, Manley was a three-time NFHCA All-American; twice earning first team honors.
