
"Evening at Ten Eyck" Scheduled for Sept. 15

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse men's and women's rowing programs, in conjunction with the Syracuse Alumni Rowing Association (SARA), will host the sixth annual "Evening at Ten Eyck" and honor the 2018 SARA Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, September 15 at the James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse in Liverpool.
The day's events begin at noon with a viewing party for the Syracuse football game versus Florida State at Ten Eyck.
The rowing events will pick back up 4:45 p.m. with recreational and reunion rows followed by registration, alumni racing and shell dedications.
A buffet dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m. and the Evening at Ten Eyck program will begin promptly at 8 p.m.
The 2018 Hall of Fame Class includes the 1978 men's IRA Championship eight crew, David Townsley '78, and Katherine Sibley, the founder of Syracuse's Department of Physical Education for Women in 1918.
