THE GAME
- After a disappointing opener, Syracuse looks to rebound by welcoming their first ranked opponent of 2019 to the Carrier Dome.
- The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra with Noah Eagle and Ryan Powell on air. Brian Higgins and Kyle Fetterly will call the action on TK99/105, Cuse.com and the TuneIn App, while WAER will also carry the game.

PROMOTIONS CENTRAL
- Saturday's game will be Student Appreciation Day in the Dome.
- Students get free admission, as always, but will be able to use the 'Orange Rewards App' in game for additional prizes and contests.
- The highlight of the prizes is a 40" TV that students can win through the in-game trivia options on the app.

THE ALBANY SERIES
- Syracuse and Albany have squared off annually since 2004, with each game taking place in the Carrier Dome, including 2004 and 2016 NCAA Tournament matchups.
- The Orange control the series with a 15-2, but Albany took last year's contest 15-3. The Great Danes scored seven consecutive goals after Jamie Trimboli gave the Orange an early lead. Nate Solomon also scored for 'Cuse.
- Before last year's loss, the Orange held a five-game winning streak from 2014-2017, including a win in the 2016 NCAA first round.
- The games have been consistently close, with four of the last-seven games being decided by two goals or less, three by one goal and two in overtime.

AGAINST THE AMERICA EAST
- Syracuse is 24-7 all-time against the seven current members of the America East Conference.
- The Orange have no other American East opponents on the 2019 schedule, but did see Vermont in a preseason scrimmage for the second-straight year.
- 'Cuse boasts a 7-0 mark against Binghamton, 15-2 record against Albany and a 2-5 record vs. UMBC. Syracuse has not played Stony Brook, Vermont, UMass Lowell or Hartford to date.

ORANGE IN BOUNCE-BACK GAMES
- Head coach John Desko has had tremendous succes in getting the Orange back on track following a loss.
- 'Cuse is 45-23 in games following a loss during a season under Desko (this record does not include the season opener following season-ending losses).
- Under Desko, 'Cuse has only had 12 "losing streaks" (two or more consecutive losses).

TOUGH LOSS
- On Wednesdy, Head Coach John Desko announced sophomore midfielder Tucker Dordevic would miss the entire 2019 season after re-injuring his foot in practice. He had missed all fall with a foot injury as well.
- Dordevic was coming off a breakout freshman campaign that saw him start every game at midfield.
- David Lipka will start in Dordevic's place.

STATE CHAMPS
- This is the second of five games vs. in-state competition this year.
- Historically, Syracuse has dominated New York. Owning a combined 407-160-10 record against teams from New York.
- The Orange are 0-1 this season, with a loss coming in the opener against Colgate.
