Orange Ranked Top-15 in US Rowing/CRCA Preseason Poll

The Syracuse University women's rowing team begins the 2019 season ranked No. 13 in the nation.
After a successful fall season earning multiple top finishes in a trifecta of regattas, the Orange begin their spring campaign ranked 13th in the US Rowing/CRCA Preseason Poll.
The champion four crew placed third at the Head of the Charles regatta in mid-October, while the team also had three different varsity fours finish in the top five at the 6th Annual Cornell Autumn Classic in early November. The first varsity eight placed first at the Cornell Classic as well.
'Cuse placed 16th at the NCAA Championship last spring marking its third-straight NCAA At-Large bid.
Syracuse is one of three ACC crews ranked in the poll. University of Virginia was tabbed at No. 5, while Duke checked in at No. 18. Notre Dame and Louisville received votes in the poll.
The Orange are slated to begin the spring season at the Doc Hosea Invitational on March 30 in Camden, N.J.
