#19 Orange Head to Clemson Invitational

UPDATED April 19, 11:03 p.m.: Due to inclement weather, Friday racing has been canceled. Racing will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 20.
Clemson, S.C. – The 19th-ranked Syracuse University women's rowing team is headed to the Clemson Invitational this weekend where 21 of the nation's best teams, representing nine different conferences, will compete at the annual regatta.
Due to inclement weather, the race schedule has been altered with the Friday's races now beginning at 2 p.m. on Lake Hartwell.
In the first session, the Orange are paired with Cornell, Penn, UCLA, Wisconsin, Navy and Tulsa in the 1V8+, 2V8+ and the varsity four. The Orange will race Alabama's B crew, Oklahoma, UCLA, Penn and Clemson's B crew in the 2V4+ and will see Duke's B crew, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Navy in the 3V8+.
For the second session, the Orange line up with San Diego, Tennessee, Minnesota, Duke, UCF and Dartmouth in the first and second varsity eights. The 1V4+ has the same opponents excluding San Diego. The 2V4+ will race Navy, Oregon State, Penn and Alabama B while the 3V8+ will race Tennessee, Minnesota, Duke and UCF.
Seeding for Saturday's races depend on Friday's results.
