Orange Varsity Eight Ranked No. 2 in Region 3

NCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's rowing varsity eight crew is ranked No. 2 in Region 3 ahead of Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) foes Virginia and Duke. As a team, the Orange are ranked No. 4 in the Region 3 rankings announced by the NCAA earlier this week.
Syracuse is ranked fourth in Region 3 behind Texas, Virginia and Duke. The varsity eight is second in the region behind Texas while the 2V8+ is the fifth-ranked second varsity eight crew in the region.
Syracuse will compete both days this weekend with the 3V8+ and 2V4+ racing Marist, Hamilton and Ithaca on Saturday at Hamilton's home course while all three varsity eights will compete with Cornell and Dartmouth on Sunday in Ithaca.
