Orange Appear in Final Oracle/ITA Singles, Doubles Rankings

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse women's tennis team appeared all over the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association's final singles and doubles rankings of the season, which were released Wednesday, May 29.
Senior Gabriela Knutson was the Orange's highest-ranked singles competitor, checking in at No. 20. A two-time singles All-American, Knutson was ranked in every edition of the poll this season and peaked at No. 13.
Junior Miranda Ramirez and sophomore Sofya Golubovskaya also maintained spots in the singles rankings. Ramirez was listed at No. 100, while Golubovskaya appeared at No. 124, rejoining the poll for the first time since February.Â
In doubles, Knutson and Ramirez, the Orange's top duo, moved up three spots to No. 52. Golubovskaya and freshman Sofya Treshcheva, meanwhile, held steady at No. 81.
The Orange were ranked No. 30 in the final team poll, which was released Wednesday, May 22. Syracuse was ranked in every edition of the poll this season, climbing to a program-best No. 10 in January.
