
Orange To Be Featured On ACC Network Extra This Fall

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse men's and women's soccer, field hockey and volleyball will be featured in the more than 400 live events that will stream exclusively on ACC Network's digital platform this fall.
ACC teams will continue to enjoy unprecedented levels of exposure this fall with the launch of the ACC Network (ACCN), the new, 24/7 national platform launching on Thursday, Aug. 22. ACCN's digital platform, ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), will also air more than 400 ACC controlled live events this fall with over 800 hours of programming.
Additionally, beginning on August 22, upon launch of ACCN, ACCNX on the ESPN App will only be available to subscribers with access to ACCN through their pay TV providers. Carriage agreements are in place with the following video providers: DIRECTV, Google Fiber, Hulu Live TV, Optimum by Altice, PlayStation Vue, Optimum by Suddenlink, TVision, Verizon Fios, members of the NCTC, NRTC and Vivicast, among others. Nine of men's soccer matches will be streamed on ACCNX from the SU Soccer Stadium, starting with the home opener against Binghamton on Monday, Sept. 2. The broadcast schedule also includes the Orange's ACC contests against Louisville (Sept. 13), Pittsburgh (Sept. 27), Clemson (Oct. 19) and North Carolina State (Oct. 26).
After the women's soccer team makes Syracuse's debut on the ACC Network on Aug. 25, the remaining seven home matches will be available on ACCNX. Syracuse hosts conference powerhouses Louisville
(Sept. 26), Florida State (Sept. 29), Wake Forest (Oct. 10), Miami (Oct. 13) and Virginia (Oct. 31).
The field hockey squad will make four appearances from J.S. Coyne Stadium on ACCNX in 2019, including its home opener against St. Joseph's on Sept. 13. The slate also includes ACC matchups against North Carolina (Oct. 12) and Wake Forest (Oct. 25).
