SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse will face its second ranked opponent of the year when it hosts No. 22 New Hampshire on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. Admission and parking are free.

Sunday's match is billed as an "Orange Out" and fans are encouraged to wear orange. There will be a giveaway of thunder sticks at the main entrance while supplies last.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse is coming off a 1-1 tie against Yale on Friday night at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Orange (1-1-1) took the lead in the 35th minute on junior Simon Triantafillou's first career goal on an assist from sophomore Hilli Goldhar. The Bulldogs recorded the equalizer in the 55th minute on a goal by Miguel Yuste. Syracuse appeared to have scored the game winner with just more than a minute left in the second overtime session, but the Orange were called for offsides.

Sunday's game will be the Orange's second against a team ranked in the top 25. Syracuse opened the season with a 3-1 setback at No. 13 Georgetown.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire enters Sunday's game with a 2-0-1 record after a 0-0 tie at Colgate on Friday. The Wildcats are ranked No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches poll.

Chris Arling has scored a team-high two goals this season. One of those goals was the game winner in a 2-1 victory at Providence. Goalkeeper Alejandro Robles is this week's America East Defensive Player of the Week after posting a shutout against Boston University in his Wildcat debut. He has a 0.31 goals-against average and a .857 save percentage.

Syracuse and New Hampshire will meet for the first time on the pitch on Sunday night.
