SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The undefeated Syracuse tennis team (5-0) continues its stretch of home matches Saturday morning at 11 a.m. when Boston College (7-1, 0-1 ACC) comes to Drumlins Country Club. It's Student Appreciation Day for the Orange. Pizza and kozies will be offered along with the chance to win other prizes. Parking and admission to all home matches is free.

LAST TIME OUT
The Orange defeated St. John's, 4-3, last Sunday at home. The Orange came from behind after losing all three doubles matches and forfeiting No. 6 singles due to injury. Three of Syracuse's singles victories came in straight sets, with wins from Miranda Ramirez, Kim Hansen and Zeynep Erman.

HOT STREAK
All three Syracuse freshmen have yet to lose a singles match. Erman and Hansen hold 5-0 records, and Kozyreva is 4-0. Hansen's wins have all been in straight sets. Ramirez is a perfect 5-0 in singles, and her and doubles partner Guzal Yusupova have yet to drop a match.

'Cuse is one of three ACC schools that remain undefeated on the year. No. 1 North Carolina (10-0, 2-0 ACC) and Virginia Tech (5-0) are the other two. Syracuse is 5-0 to start the year for the second time in the Younes Limam era. 'Cuse won its first seven in 2016.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
BC is led by Nigel Bentley who is in his 21st season with the Eagles. BC ended last year with its first NCAA tournament appearance in 22 years and had its most wins in two decades (16).Â

Off to a 7-1 start, the Eagles are led by senior Kylie Wilcox and No. 67 Yufei Long. Wilcox was 12-3 in ACC doubles last season and was named to All-ACC Third Team. Long, also an All-ACC Third Team selection, went 13-13 in the No. 1 singles slot last season and has thrived in the role this year. Wilcox and Long recently became a doubles pair and have gone 2-0 since teaming up. Long earned ACC Co-Player of the Week after defeating No. 21 Natasha Subhash and Yale's No. 44 Samantha Martinelli.
