
Orange, Buckeyes Clash in B1G/ACC Challenge Wednesday

Syracuse (3-4) hosts No. 18/20 Ohio State (5-0) on Wednesday night in the B1G/ACC Challenge. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on ACC Network with Sam Ravech on play-by-play and Angel McCoughtry serving as analyst.Â
The Orange are coming off a 79-57 win over Colgate (1-5) on Sunday afternoon. Syracuse's leading scorer Chrislyn Carr (14.0 ppg) has recorded back-to-back 20-point games with 23 points against Buffalo on Nov. 22 and 20 in Sunday's rout of the Raiders. Forward Alaysia Styles had a career-high 15 rebounds while Naje Murray and Teisha Hyman added 16 and 17 points, respectively.Â
Ohio State travels out of the state of Ohio for the first time this season having played four straight home games to start the season and traveling to Cincinnati last weekend for the Buckeyes' first road game. Jacy Sheldon leads the team with 19.0 points per game and as a unit the Buckeyes are outscoring their opponents by 36.0 points per game through their first five. Ohio State is coming off an 86-50 road win at Cincinnati.Â
Syracuse is 3-4 in the B1G/ACC Challenge since joining the Atlantic Coast Conference prior to the 2013-14 season. The Orange look to win their first game in the challenge since beating Northwestern in the Dome on Nov. 30, 2017. Syracuse is 3-0 in B1G/ACC Challenge games played at home.Â
