As the Syracuse Orange prepare to host North Carolina in the Carrier Dome on Monday, March 1 (7 p.m., ESPN), we continue our Q&A series to help you get to know your Orange! In this edition we talk with senior forward Marek Dolezaj!

What is different about your game from a year ago?
I am more confident. I try to lead the team more by talking to them on and off the court.

What has been the most difficult challenge the team has faced during the pandemic?
Trying to stay safe by staying home as much as possible and not going where there are large gatherings of people.

Was it especially difficult when the team had to pause?
Yes. When we had to pause, we had to go on a long break, which made things hard.

How have you kept up with classes and adjusted to virtual instruction?
Technically it has been a little bit easier, because you can take the class at home on your computer. The struggle is paying attention, staring at your computer for long periods of time.

What is your favorite game memory from your time at Syracuse?
Freshman Year. March Madness. That was the best time.

LeBron James

I don't have one.

Can I name two? Shutter Island and Green Mile.
