Orange Start Outdoor Season in Raleigh

'Cuse began its outdoor season on Thursday night in Raleigh at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State.
Annie Heffernan ran to a time of 34:20.06 in the 10,000-meter run for a 10th-place finish as the Orange's top finisher on the evening.
Gavin Richards (3:49.02) raced in the 1500-meter run.
The Orange had a deep field in the 5k, led by Simon Smith (14:19.58). He was followed by Sam Lawler (14:28.10), Ethan Wechsler (14:33.42) and Joey Eovaldi.
Action continues on Friday at the meet.
