Syracuse was back in action for the second day in a row at the Auburn War Eagle Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Shaleah Colaire led the way with a top-five finish in the 100-meter hurdles. Colaire's time of 13.74 seconds was third among collegians. Christina Clemons, who was runner-up in the 2018 World Indoor Championships, was the victor in 12.71 seconds. Ashley Wallace (14.64) also raced in the event, taking 13th.
Colaire also finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.76.
Jamil Adams was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (14.43), followed closely by Anthony Vazquez (14.46) in fifth. David Peters (15.01) was 10th.
Like Colaire, Adams doubled up and turned in a top-five finish in both hurdle events. His time of 53.15 seconds earned him a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles.
Vazquez also raced in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 22.83 seconds. For the women, Eunice Boateng took took 10th in the 200-meter run in 24.13 seconds. She also placed 12th in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.92 seconds.
Kennedy Tarley turned in a time of 58.65 seconds in the 400 and Bearett Tarris' time of 2:21.10 was 21st in the 800-meter run.
In the women's 1500-meter run, Kayli Jones crossed the line in 4:48.64, which earned her an 11th-place finish. Kevin Robertson represented the men in the event with a time of 3:54.83, which was 13th.
It was the Orange's second meet of the weekend after some members of the team raced at Virginia on Friday. Amanda Vestri highlighted that action with a meet record in the women's 10k.
