Ten Orange on PLL Training Camp Rosters

Ten Syracuse players are headed to Premier Lacrosse League training camps, representing seven of the PLL's eight teams.
The Chrome Lacrosse Club has the deepest roster of 'Cuse players, with Randy Staats, John Galloway, Joel White and Jeremy Thompson all set to suit up. Staats is new to the league after playing in Major League Lacrosse last season before the two leagues merged prior to this summer.
Another new addition to the league from the MLL is Matt Abbott. He's set to play for the Whipsnakes, who are the defending champions of the league.
Sergio Salcido will return to the Chaos Lacrosse Club after scoring seven goals in seven games last season.
Nate Solomon is another player coming from the MLL after a strong 2020 season with the Bayhawks. He had 13 points in five games during the MLL Championship series last season and shot over 50-percent.
The newest pros are Peter Dearth (Atlas), Stephen Rehfuss (Cannons) and Jamie Trimboli (Redwoods) who were all drafted in the PLL Collegiate Draft last month.
Training camps get underway next week, with the season opening on June 4 when the Whipsnakes take on the Redwoods on opening night at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
