Former 'Cuse rower Hattie Taylor '17 is competing in the Tokyo Olympic Games in the Great Britain women's four. The sixth Syracuse University women's rower to make an Olympic team, Taylor has won two World Championships, two European Championships and five World Cups. After initially qualifying for the Olympic team in 2020, Taylor had to re-qualify for the team when the 2020 Olympic Games were delayed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Tokyo Olympic Games rowing competition begins on Friday, July 23rd and concludes Saturday, July 30th. The women's four heats are scheduled for Saturday, July 24th with the finals set for Wednesday, July 28th.
