ITHACA N.Y.- In their second consecutive double overtime game, the Orange finished with a 1-1 tie at Cornell. Syracuse scored in the first half and then Cornell, a team receiving votes in the top 25 national rankings, tied the game in the second to force the overtime periods.

In the 41st minute of the game Syracuse (4-3-1 overall, 1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) midfielder Camden Holbrook fed freshman forward Francesco Pagano the ball in the box. Pagano beat the last defender and found the bottom right corner of the net to give Syracuse a 1-0 lead and notch his second goal of the season. The Big Red (4-1-1) answered in the 56th minute of the game when fifth-year midfielder Harry Fuller tallied a goal to tie the game at one.
Â
"We'll look back at the end of the season and realize this was a very good result against a tough program," said head coach Ian McIntyre. "I'm very proud of the resilience of our group and I thought we worked extremely hard coming off our last emotional double overtime game."
