
Track Wraps Up Dr. Sander Invite

Syracuse wrapped up the Dr. Sander Invitational on Saturday at the Armory in New York City.
It was the second of a two-day meet, where Eunice Boateng led the way on day two. She finished fourth in the 200 with a time of 24.29. Shaleah Colaire (24.88), Kahniya James (24.94), Janelle Pottinger (25.32) and Kaleia Arrington (25.83) also ran for SU.
Another top-five finisher on the afternoon was Kevin Robertson, who took fifth in the men's mile in a time of 4:06.50. Savannah Roark (21st) and Oliva Joly (43rd) ran in the women's race.
After finishing fourth in the 60 on Friday, Trei Thorogood finished eighth in the men's 200 with a time of 22.08. Janes Nmah was not far off in 22.68.
Kennedy Tarley (57.76) was 26th in the women's 400-meter dash. Jana Riley (58.86) and Natalya Rodney (59.82) also raced. Xayvion Perkins (52.23) ran in the men's event.
Alexander Segarra (1:57.31) ran in the 800, before 'Cuse wrapped the weekend with the 4x400-meter run. Tarley, Boateng, Riley and Colaire competed with a third-place finish in 3:45.01.
Syracuse is back in action next weekend at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational and the Boston University Valentine Invitational.
