SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse defeated Boston College, 4-3, on the Orange's Senior Day Sunday afternoon. Senior Sofya Treshcheva was honored and played her final home match with the Orange while Zeynep Erman earned her first singles victory of the spring. The Orange are back in action on Friday, Apr. 15 when they travel to Miami to take on the No. 8 Hurricanes.

Shiori Ito put the Orange on the board with a straight-sets singles victory over BC's Muskan Mahajan after Syracuse dropped the doubles point. The freshman earned her 10th singles win on Sunday, good for her 20th total match triumph this season. Freshman Miyuka Kimoto also picked up her 20th win, taking both matches she played in against the Eagles. Ines Fonte took her seventh singles win of the spring with a two-set victory.

The ACC win brings the Orange back to the .500 mark at 9-9. Syracuse travels to Florida next weekend for an all-ACC road trip to conclude the regular season. The Hurricanes are up first on Friday followed by the No. 41 Seminoles on Sunday, Apr. 17.
