THE GAME
- The Orange hit the road for the first time in over a month, making for Long Island to face the Pride of Hofstra.
- The Orange, who received votes in both major polls this week, renewing a series with Hofstra for the first time since the 2003 campaign, the third-straight game between the two teams in Hempstead.
- LacrosseTV will carry the game live on Tuesday with Brendan Glasheen '15 and Chris Marshall on the call.
- Tim Leonard '20 (PxP) and Kyle Fetterly '09 (analyst) will broadcast the action on TK99/105, Cuse.com, The Varsity App and the TuneIn App, while WAER will also carry the game.

THE HOFSTRA SERIES
- Tuesday will be the 17th meeting all-time between the two programs, a series in which Syracuse holds a 12-4 edge.
- The teams have not clashed since the 2003 campaign and will be the first meeting between Syracuse head coach Gary Gait and Hofstra head man Seth Tierney.
- The Orange are 6-3 all-time against Hofstra in Hempstead, but the Pride got the better of Syracuse, 8-6, in the last meeting (April 17, 2003).
- Syracuse and Hofstra have tussled just twice this century, splitting the two games in 2001 and 2003, both of which were on Long Island.
- Only two current players for Syracuse have played against the Pride, seniors Will Mark and Jake Murphy. The two clashed with the Pride during their time at LIU.
- The Orange program is quite familiar with the city of Hempstead, playing in NCAA Tournament games at Hofstra in 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, and 2009.

VERSUS THE CAA
- Tuesday's game will be the 36th time the Orange meet a school currently aligned with the CAA.
- Syracuse is 29-6 all-time against this current conference alignment, lead by a 12-4 record against Hofstra.
- The Orange lead Towson 9-2 all-time and hold a 3-0 record against Delaware, the only other current CAA teams Syracuse has played more than three times.
- Syracuse has not played a current CAA member since the 2017 NCAA Tournament, drawing Towson in the Quarterfinals, hosted at another CAA school, Delaware.
- The Orange played Stony Brook in 2021 and 2022, prior to the Seawolves transition to the CAA.

A WIN AGAINST HOFSTRA WOULD...
- Snap a four-game slide for the 'Cuse, dating back to Feb . 12, 2023 against Holy Cross.
- Be the first road win for Syracuse since March 19, 2022, also on Long Island with a 14-9 decision.
- Be the program's 932nd all-time victory, second most for a program behind Johns Hopkins (March 11).
- Tie the total number of wins from the 2022 season.
