Orange Look To Bounce Back

No. 28 Syracuse tennis (11-5, 4-5) hits the road this weekend for pairings against No. 7 NC State (14-2, 6-1) and No. 27 Wake Forest (12-8, 3-4). The Orange face the Wolfpack at 2 p.m. on Friday, followed by a clash with the Demon Deacons at noon on Sunday.

The 'Cuse is 3-6 all-time against NC State and 4-11 in the all-time series against Wake Forest.

Head coach Younes Liman's squad comes off two back-to-back 6-1 losses against No. 10 Duke and No. 1 North Carolina. In both those matches, the lone point for the Orange came from singles victories. Polina Kozyreva defeated the Blue Devil's Iuliia Bryzgalova 7-5, 5-7, 10-2, and Miyuka Kimoto pulled out the win against the Tar Heel's Abbey Forbes 7-5, 5-7, 10-8.

After this weekend, Syracuse will conclude its regular season on the road at Notre Dame (April 14) and Louisville (April 16) before heading to the ACC Tournament (April 19-23) in Cary, NC.
