News and Notes:
- The team's official roster was updated prior to the start of camp. See all the new additions here: 2023 roster
- Preseason accolades continue to roll out, including two Maxwell Award Watch List additions, Garrett Shrader on the Weurffel Trophy Watch List, Oronde Gadsden on the Preseason All-ACC Team, and Trebor Pena on the Hornung Award Watch List. Those watch lists will continue into the fall, with the bulk of the remaining awards expected to release preseason lists this week.
- Syracuse was picked to finish 10th in the ACC. The voters are comprised of media credentialed for ACC Kickoff, and often sway to a significantly heavier presence from the Carolinas and Virginia due to proximity to the event. The good news for Orange fans, is under Babers, the Orange have only finished below their preseason rank once in the past seven seasons. Typically, the team exceeds that preseason mark.
The Orange open the 2023 season on Sept. 2 vs. Colgate. Season tickets, partial plans and individual game tickets are now on sale at Cuse.com/Tickets. Season tickets, which start at just $99, remain the best value for Orange fans. Fans can also purchase group tickets, hospitality packages and tailgate packages. With two of the last three games in the JMA Dome having been sold out, fans are encouraged to secure their seats today to be part of the action.
