
Three Former Orange Named to U.S. Sixes Roster

SPARKS, Md. – Syracuse graduates Nicole Levy, Emily Hawryschuk and Sam Swart have been named to the 12-player Team USA roster that will compete at the 2023 World Lacrosse Women's Super Sixes event in Oshawa Ontario from October 6-8.

Swart earned a silver medal at The World Games 2022, which was the first time the U.S. competed in an international championship using the Sixes form. Swart, Levy and Hawryschuk were all recently named to the 2024 U.S. box training team.

The Super Sixes event is scheduled to include six teams, including Canada, Haiti, Haudenosaunee, India, Kenya and the United States. The U.S. is set to play India on October 6 and Canada on October 7. Championship play for final placements will be held on October 8.
