
Softball Announces 2024 Schedule

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 2024 Syracuse softball schedule, which features a season-opening three tournaments, was announced on Thursday by head coach Shannon Doepking.
KICKIN' IT OFF IN CONWAY
The Orange start the season at the Kickin' Chicken Classic in Conway, S.C., Feb. 9-11. Syracuse will square off against Bucknell, Coastal Carolina, Campbell and George Washington.
BACK-TO-BACK IN LOUISIANA
The Orange travel to Louisiana for back-to-back tournaments, beginning at the Southeast Louisiana Lion Classic Feb. 16-18 in Hammond, La. Syracuse will take on Maryland, Southeast Louisiana and Southeast Missouri. The following weekend, Feb. 23-25, The Orange head to Monroe, La., to play Evansville, Louisiana Monroe, Northwestern State and Sam Houston.

Syracuse begins March with Atlantic Coast Conference action at Duke, the first of three conference road trips in the month.
The Orange start a 10-game homestand Mar. 28-30 against Georgia Tech before welcoming Canisius (April 3), Clemson (April 5-7) and Colgate (April 10) to Skytop Stadium.
FINAL ROAD SWING
Syracuse returns to the road for weekends at Seton Hall (April 12-14) and Pittsburgh (April 19-21) to conclude the regular season road slate.
ENDING THE SEASON AT SKYTOP
The 2024 regular season wraps up with a nine-game homestand. Syracuse hosts Le Moyne (April 24), Virginia Tech (April 26-28), Cornell (May 1) and Florida State (May 3-5).
The Orange will face five programs that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Softball Championship, including the runner up Seminoles. The list also includes Campbell, Clemson, Duke and Virginia Tech.
The 2024 ACC Tournament is hosted by Duke, taking place May 8-11 in Durham, N.C.
Syracuse finished the 2023 campaign with a 24-26-1 overall record, advancing to the ACC Quarterfinals for the second consecutive season.
